Privacy Policy

1. Our Promise: We Collect Nothing

The Static URL QR Generator is a fully client-side web application. This means every character you type, every logo you upload, and every QR code you generate never leaves your device. There is no backend, no database, no logging, and no third-party analytics.

2. What We Do Not Collect

  • No URLs or text input — processed only in your browser’s memory
  • No uploaded images or logos — converted to data URLs locally
  • No IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or location data
  • No cookies, localStorage persistence, or tracking pixels
  • No analytics — we don’t use Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami, or any tracker

3. How It Actually Works

All QR code generation uses the open-source kjua library running entirely in your browser. When you click “Download” or “Copy,” your browser creates the file or clipboard data — we never see it. The entire site is under 500 KB and can work offline after the first visit.

4. Third-Party Scripts

We load only one optional external resource: kjua.js (with Subresource Integrity when served via CDN). It contains no tracking. All other assets (Bootstrap, icons) are served locally from GitHub Pages.

5. Offline & PWA Mode

When you install this tool as a Progressive Web App, everything is cached locally. Even then, no data is ever sent anywhere.

6. Security & Responsibility

Because nothing is transmitted, the greatest risk is your own device security. We recommend using up-to-date browsers and avoiding public computers for sensitive links (e.g., crypto wallets, internal tools).

7. Compliance by Default

Since we collect zero personal data, this tool inherently complies with GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and all privacy regulations — there is simply nothing to protect, delete, or export.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our no-collection stance (highly unlikely), we will update this page and the commit history on GitHub.
