Welcome to the π Calculator, a lightweight, browser-based web utility for performing high-precision calculations involving the mathematical constant π. This tool is developed and hosted as a static site (we, us, our). We are deeply committed to user privacy and operate under a strict zero-data-collection model. Because the application runs entirely in your browser, we do not — and cannot — collect, store, transmit, or process any personal information from you.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Due to the fully client-side nature of the π Calculator, the following types of data are never collected:

  • Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Names, email addresses, IP addresses, device identifiers, or any other identifying data.
  • Input Data: All numbers, calculation selections, and precision choices you enter remain exclusively in your browser’s memory and are never sent anywhere.
  • Usage or Analytics Data: We do not track page views, session duration, calculation frequency, browser type, operating system, geographic location, or any other behavioral metrics.
  • Cookies or Local Identifiers: No cookies, localStorage items, or session tokens are set by this application.

Your inputs and results exist only temporarily in your device’s RAM and are lost when you close or refresh the page (unless you manually copy them).

3. How the Tool Operates

All computations — including high-precision π generation via Decimal.js and execution of the ten selected formulas — occur locally using JavaScript. No requests are made to external servers (except static asset CDNs for Bootstrap CSS, which do not track users). Features such as copy-to-clipboard use the browser’s native Clipboard API. There is no backend, no database, and no logging infrastructure.

4. Third-Party Services & CDNs

The site loads Bootstrap CSS from a public CDN (jsDelivr) and Decimal.js as a local dependency during build. These resources are static files with no tracking scripts or user-identifying behavior. We do not embed analytics, ads, social plugins, or any other third-party services that could collect data.

5. Data Security Considerations

Since we collect nothing, there is no risk of data breach from our side. However, we recommend that you:

  • Use a modern, up-to-date browser with strong security settings.
  • Avoid pasting or sharing calculation results containing sensitive information.
  • Be aware that screenshots or manual copies of results leave your device under your control.

6. Children’s Privacy

The π Calculator is not directed to children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you are a parent and have concerns, please contact us using the details below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect site updates. The effective date will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
