AxelBase operates on a strict privacy-first principle. Because this tool runs entirely in your web browser, we do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. All calculations happen locally on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
The BTU to kWh Converter is designed to be invisible to our servers. We do not collect:
- Personal Identifiable Information (PII): No names, emails, or contact details.
- Usage Data: No IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or location tracking.
- Input Data: Values you enter stay in your browser’s memory and are never transmitted.
- Analytics: No Google Analytics, no pixels, and no third-party trackers.
2. How Client-Side Logic Works
Traditional converters send your data to a server to get a result. AxelBase does the opposite:
When you type a value, JavaScript executing on your processor performs the math. This tool is completely stateless—closing the tab wipes all temporary calculation data from your RAM instantly.
3. Third-Party Services & Cookies
We do not use cookies or local storage tracking. Our styling is delivered via a public CDN for Bootstrap; however, this CDN serves only static CSS files and does not track individual user behavior on this platform.
4. Regulatory Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)
Because we never collect, store, or process personal data, this tool is compliant by design with GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy frameworks. There is no data to "forget" or "export" because we never held it in the first place.
5. Data Security
Since there is no database, there is no risk of a data breach. Your data security is tied to your own device’s security. We recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest version for the best local processing safety.
