1. Our Privacy Commitment

Welcome to the SVG to PNG Converter, a 100% client-side web utility. We (we, us, or our) built this tool with privacy as the highest priority. Because all processing happens exclusively inside your browser, we do not — and cannot — collect, store, transmit, log, or otherwise access any data from your usage. This policy explains our practices clearly so you can use the converter with complete confidence.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We collect zero personal data. Specifically, we never obtain:

  • Personal Identifiable Information — no names, emails, addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifiers.
  • Technical or Usage Data — no IP addresses, browser fingerprints, device types, screen resolutions, operating systems, or geolocation information.
  • File Content — your uploaded SVG files, generated PNGs, and any temporary data created during conversion never leave your device.
  • Analytics or Tracking — we do not use Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, cookies, pixels, beacons, or any third-party tracking scripts.

Everything stays local. There are no servers involved after the static page loads.

3. How the Converter Operates

When you use the tool:

  • You select an SVG file from your device.
  • The browser reads the file using the native File API.
  • The SVG is rendered to a hidden canvas element and exported as a PNG data URL — all locally.
  • The download is triggered via a temporary anchor element created in memory.

No network requests are made during conversion. The browser may temporarily hold file data in memory or use session-only localStorage for UI state (cleared on refresh), but we have no control over or access to this.

4. Third Parties & External Resources

We use only static CDNs for Bootstrap CSS/JS (no tracking versions). These requests are made directly from your browser to public CDN servers and contain no user-specific data. No advertising, analytics, or social media SDKs are present.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The converter is completely cookie-free. We do not employ any tracking technologies, persistent identifiers, or session tokens.

6. Security & Your Responsibility

Since we process nothing server-side, security depends on your device and browser. We recommend:

  • Using an up-to-date, secure browser
  • Avoiding public or shared computers for sensitive files
  • Keeping your operating system patched

7. Children’s Privacy

This tool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly process data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy occasionally. Updates will appear here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
