1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AxelBase JWT Header & Payload Viewer ("the Tool"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Tool.
2. Description of Service
The Tool is a free, open-source, client-side web application that decodes and displays the header and payload of JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) in your browser. It does not verify signatures, store data, or communicate with servers beyond loading static assets.
3. License to Use
You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the Tool for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Tool only for lawful purposes.
- Not input confidential or sensitive production tokens into shared or public environments.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the Tool except as permitted by its MIT License.
- Not use the Tool to bypass security controls or violate third-party terms.
5. No Warranties
The Tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including:
- Accuracy of decoded output
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Availability or uptime
We do not guarantee the Tool will work flawlessly or meet your needs.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AxelBase and its contributors shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- Use or inability to use the Tool
- Errors in token decoding
- Loss of data or security breaches on your device
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
7. Intellectual Property
The Tool’s source code is licensed under the MIT License. You may fork, modify, and redistribute it per the license terms. The AxelBase name and logo are trademarks and may not be used without permission.
8. Third-Party Content
The Tool loads Bootstrap 5 from a public CDN. Its use is governed by its own license and privacy policy.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Tool at any time, without notice, for any reason.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the repository is hosted (currently international open-source standards).
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the Tool constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
