1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the BIP39 Mnemonic Verifier (the "Tool"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Tool. The Tool is provided free of charge, as-is, and without any form of warranty or guarantee.
2. Description of the Tool
The Tool is a static, client-side web utility that checks whether words in a 12-word or 24-word phrase appear in the official English BIP39 wordlist of 2048 words. All processing occurs in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any data. The Tool is offered for informational and educational purposes only.
3. No Warranty
The Tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for recovering or securing cryptocurrency wallets.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Tool, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of funds, data corruption, missed opportunities, or any financial loss related to cryptocurrency or digital assets.
5. Not Financial or Security Advice
The Tool is not financial advice, investment advice, security advice, or a substitute for professional wallet recovery software. It performs no checksum validation, entropy verification, or key derivation. You are solely responsible for verifying the full validity of any mnemonic phrase and for safeguarding your private keys and assets. Never use this Tool with real funds or real mnemonics unless you fully understand its limitations.
6. Permitted Use
You may use the Tool for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not use it to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the wordlist for commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Tool in any way that could harm its availability or integrity.
7. Changes to the Tool or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Tool at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Johannesburg, Gauteng.
By using the BIP39 Mnemonic Verifier, you acknowledge that it is a limited, client-side utility provided without warranties, and that you use it at your own risk.
