Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Address Format Validator (the "Tool"), a free, open-source, client-side web utility for validating Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana address formats, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Tool.
2. Nature of the Tool
The Tool performs format and checksum validation only. It checks whether an entered string conforms to known address specifications for supported blockchains. It does not verify ownership, existence on-chain, current balance, or transaction capability. Validation results indicate technical format compliance, not real-world usability or safety.
3. No Warranty
The Tool is provided "**as is**" and "**as available**" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Accuracy or completeness of validation results
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Absence of errors or interruptions
We make no guarantee that the Tool will detect every possible error or that addresses marked valid will function correctly in all contexts.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developers, contributors, or hosting providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Use or inability to use the Tool
- Loss of cryptocurrency due to reliance on validation results
- Errors in address formatting undetected by the Tool
- Any third-party actions or network conditions
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. You bear full responsibility for verifying addresses before sending funds.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Tool only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Tool's operation
- Independently verify critical addresses through multiple sources
- Understand that format validation is not a substitute for caution
6. Intellectual Property
The Tool is open-source and released under the MIT License. You may fork, modify, and redistribute the code subject to license terms. The content of these legal pages is copyrighted.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by general principles of international internet usage and applicable open-source practices.
Use this Tool at your own risk. Always double-check addresses before transferring any cryptocurrency.
